If you have ever moved a WordPress site from one server to another, and had to deal with upset clients who lost their post edits during the move, then you may appreciate the Server Move Notification plugin I wrote recently. It is extremely basic, and simply leaves a notice in the admin panel alerting site editors that the website is currently being moved and that they should hold off on adding content until the notice disappears.
