I believe the WP Twitter Feed plugin no longer works, due to changes in the Twitter API. So this extension for the plugin now serves no purpose.

This WordPress provides fixes for catering to https only pages when using the WP Twitter feed plugin. I found a number of bugs which triggered certificate errors when viewing a site utilising the plugin.

My plugin uses a fairly crude approach to solving the problem, by simply buffering the whole page and rewriting the offending URLs accordingly. Hopefully fixes for all these will be implemented into the original plugin eventually and make this “fix” plugin obsolete.
